We are delighted to report that, as part of the Silicon Republic’s Women Invent Tomorrow campaign, Dr Tracey P. Lauriault is one of the 100 top women in the areas of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
In Ireland she has been actively engaged in critical data research on topics related to Open Data, Big Data, Open Government and Infrastructures. Like other members of the Programmable City Team she is doing field work in Dublin and Boston. Because her home country is Canada, that has been added. She is also a big supporter of evidence based decision making and deliberative democracy, and considers numbers, data and open and interoperable infrastructures as being part of that process.
Congratulations to Tracey! And you can read more about other inspiring women over at Silicon Republic.
